Please join Fletcher Parks and Recreation Salute to our country’s veterans, sponsored by Blue Ridge Christian Church, on Saturday, November 7th at 5:00 p.m. at the Fletcher Community Park’s Flagpole. The short program will consist of the presentation of the Nation’s Colors and the Pledge of Allegiance by Cub Scout Troop 624, the singing of the National Anthem by Lisa Moore, and Michael H. Hinman Lieutenant Commander, U.S. Navy (Retired) as our featured speaker. The program will close with a moment of silence and the musical piece Taps by Kendall Wernet.
