
The fair will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7th and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8th.
This annual event sponsored by the Outreach Commission of St. James offers shoppers meaningful and alternative choices for the gift-giving season.
Unique items from around the globe will be sold by Ten Thousand Villages, a fair-trade retailer of artisan-crafted gifts, home decor, jewelry and personal accessories. Ten Thousand Villages works with artisan groups in more than 38 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. For more information, go to the Web site http://www.tenthousandvillages.com/
Eight nonprofit organizations will also be represented at the fair, offering gifts and donation cards that may be purchased in honor of a friend or family member. These organizations include Interfaith Assistance Ministry, African Medical Mission, The Storehouse, Feed the Kids (Boys & Girls Club), Faith Link, Our Little Roses in Honduras, Durgapur in India and Heifer International.
Donations to a specific agency may be made at the individual booths, where information about the organization will be available.
